THE MEGAN JASTRAB

BRIDGED-OPPORTUNITIES SCHOLARSHIP & BEGINNER GRANT

WHY THE SCHOLARSHIP?

The motivation behind Megan’s pursuit of a scholarship
is clear—she recognizes the financial barriers hindering
junior women in the USA from excelling in European
cycling. By breaking these barriers, Megan envisions
providing more American girls with the opportunity to
reach the pinnacle of the sport.

“There are not enough opportunities for junior women in the USA to compete at the top level of cycling in Europe without financial backing. It is a substantial financial commitment for families to support their daughters in traveling, racing, and performing at the highest level. With the Scholarship, more American girls will access opportunities to achieve their goal of competing at the highest level of the sport.”
– Megan Jastrab
